Nature’s Bounty at Sampran Garden: Fruit Trees and Their Many Uses.  Thanks to the natural water source from the Tha Chin River, we thrives with a rich variety of fruit trees that provide both nourishment and inspiration. Many fruits are enjoyed fresh, while others are processed into delicious products like coconut milk ice cream, candied bilimbi, banana vinegar and mangoes.  Some of these lesser-known mangoes include Kiew Khai Ka, Nang Klang Wan, and Tap Ped.

At the Patom Village workshop, fruits and plants are also used in creative ways—boiled to extract natural dyes for tie-dye and  bag painting activities. Plants used for these colors include Pilangkasa, mango leaves, and vibrant flowers such as Flame of the Forest, Marigold, and Maple Hibiscus.
