“เงินทองพอหาได้ เวลาหาซื้อไม่ได้” นิยามของไม้ยืนต้นในสวนสามพราน เพราะที่นี่เกิดขึ้นได้เพราะต้นพิกุลอายุถึงหนึ่งร้อยปี ซึ่งผู้บริหารรุ่นแรกของสวนสามพราน ล่องเรือมาเส้นทางแม่น้ำท่าจีนผ่านมาเห็นต้นไม้ กำลังจะโค่นล้มเพราะตลิ่งพัง จึงซื้อพื้นที่แล้วค้ำต้นพิกุลต้นนั้นขึ้น ดูแลให้รอดจนถึงทุกวันนี้ และมีไม้ยืนต้นเก่าแก่ที่ให้ร่มเงา และช่วยลดอุณหภูมิได้ 3-5 องศาเซลเซียส เช่น ต้นไทร ต้นหูกวาง ต้นมะขาม

ไม้ยืนต้นหายากออกดอกสวยตามฤดูกาล เช่น ต้นรวงผึ้ง (ต้นไม้ประจำรัชกาลที่ 10) และ ต้นมหาพรหมราชินี ฯลฯ

ไม้ยืนต้นติดที่ดั้งเดิมซึ่งมีอายุมากที่สุดในสวนสามพราน คือ ต้นกระทุ่มนา อายุมากกว่าร้อยปี

"Money and gold can be earned, but time can never be bought."
This saying captures the spirit of the towering trees on our property. The garden itself owes its origin to a single ancient tree, a Bulletwood tree over 100 years old. It was this tree that first caught the attention of the garden’s founding family as they journeyed along the Tha Chin River where they saw the tree on the verge of collapsing due to eroding riverbanks. Moved by its presence, they purchased the land and propped the tree up, nurturing it back to life. That very tree still stands today, a living witness to the garden’s beginnings.

Now, the garden is home to many mature, shady trees that help reduce the ambient temperature by 3–5°C, including banyan trees, Indian almond trees, and tamarind trees. Some rare species also bloom beautifully in their seasons, such as the Ruang Phueng tree (the tree of King Rama X) and the Mahaprom Rachinee.

The oldest standing tree in Sampran Garden, rooted in its original place, is the Krathum Na—a majestic tree that has stood tall for over a century which can be seen near Patom café.
