ภูมิทัศน์ในสวนสามพราน มีทั้งทะเลสาบ คูน้ำและลำคลองเล็กๆไว้รายล้อมพื้นที่ นอกจากมองไปสบายตาแล้ว ยังเป็นคลองส่งน้ำจากแม่น้ำท่าจีน  แหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติสำคัญ ที่ทำให้สวนสามพราน มีต้นไม้เขียวชะอุ่มร่มรื่น ทั้งนี้ยังทำให้ผลไม้ในอำเภอสามพรานมีรสชาติโดดเด่น เช่น มะพร้าว ส้มโอ

ในลำคลองและริมตลิ่ง จะมีไม้น้ำปลูกคละเคล้ากันไปเพื่อความสวยงาม บางชนิดสามารถนำมาทำเป็นเครื่องดื่ม และอาหารได้  เช่น บัวหลวง ผักก้านจอง เป็นต้น

A Harmony of Water and Greenery, Suan Sampran is enriched by lakes, moats, and small canals that flow throughout the area. Not only do they offer a calming view, but they also serve as irrigation channels connected to the Tha Chin River, a vital natural water source that keeps the garden lush all year round.  This abundance of water is also one of the reasons why fruits grown in the Sampran district, such as coconuts and pomelos, are known for their distinctive and delicious flavors.

 Along the canals and riverbanks, a variety of aquatic plants are thoughtfully planted to enhance the scenery. Some of these, like sacred lotus and water spinach are not only beautiful but also edible, commonly used in drinks and traditional Thai dishes.

In 1962, our founders started Suan Sampran as a rose farm supplying roses to flower markets in Bangkok. To their interest, the founders began collecting other species of plants and flowers on the property. Over the years, we continue to grow diverse species of plants developing our property into a garden for both local and international visitors. Today, Suan Sampran is a lush botanical garden certified according organic to IFOAM, EU and CANADA standards.
